Lose Fat Tummy – Lose Pounds Tighten Your Tummy and Feel Great With Just A Few Exercises

So many people are overweight and want to lose tummy fat. You can have that firm tummy, lose those excess pounds and feel great in the process. How? Just by following a few simple exercises.

Excess weight will not disappear overnight and although science has developed diet pills claiming that you can lose tummy fat fast (some risky, some downright dangerous) and some diet programs claim to get you to lose “10 pounds a day” well forget these claims we are going to concentrate on regular exercise and then you will see the pounds drop off and help you lose tummy fat.

The type of exercise you choose will be determined by your current state of health and physical ability and I understand that someone hugely overweight could not easily put on their running shoes and jog a mile around the local park. So tailor your exercise routine to your current ability and gradually increase as you improve.

I must add a warning here that you must always consult with your doctor or health professional before undertaking any diet or fitness regime.

Carried out sensibly, studies show that there are no known side effects from exercising. I must stress on the word sensibly because if you do too much too quickly and without proper warm ups you will most certainly end up with muscle strain so slowly and gently to begin with .

In my view the best form of exercise is group exercise, be it football, baseball, basketball or if you have passed that particular age try organised dances like line dancing. Not only is this good exercise but you will be spurred on by your fellow participants and will get the social benefits of mixing with people as well. So you lose tummy fat and get a great deal of enjoyment.

Exercise is superb because it builds person's endurance and increases the metabolism prompting one to burn more calories than before which results in tummy fat and general weight loss.

For the more active, a regular gym session involving cardio-vascular and aerobic activity will not only help you lose the tummy fat but will develop a firmer body shape. Mix it up a bit start by warming up on the treadmill or cross trainer followed by some weight training using the various machines. Do not be shy about going to a gym for the first time, they are not full of muscle bound hulks bench pressing hundreds of pounds but ordinary people like you and me intent on losing some weight and keeping fit. You will find that the gym assistants are only too pleased to help beginners.

If you think age is a factor then you should try Tai Chi, it is brilliant for all ages, I will never forget the sight of crowds of people, some into their eighties, performing Tai Chi early every morning in Hong Kong. The Chinese swear by its benefits and scientific studies back their claims, try this if you can.

However much effort you put into your exercise routine it will all be for nothing if you eat the wrong foods, so cut out fried, greasy foods, cut down on sugar and definitely no processed foods. You can still eat well, certainly do not starve yourself as this can be counterproductive, but eat sensibly. You can eat well and still lose tummy fat.

One of the most important things to remember while exercising is to drink lots of water, up to six pints a day if you can, do not become dehydrated as a result of all your efforts.

Medical studies show that apart from the benefit of losing tummy fat exercise also produces endorphins which give you a feel good factor. You may, initially, feel shattered but this will quickly turn to a warm glow. Believe me I get it every time.
